Life be lifing.
Got covid a couple of weeks ago. It's quite unfortunate, it took me out for an entire week. I had to take a sick leave and rest. A nice change of pace, but being sick is not fun.
Feeling better now, and back to work. I get really tired after work now, have to take daily naps, which eat into my free time. That's in addition to 7-8 hours of sleep I get at night.
Trying to find more time to work on my personal projects: this website, a game I'm making, and a new YouTube channel I want to start. So far, I have a few video script drafts for the YouTube channel that I need to do a writing pass on.
Been playing a lot of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth on my Steam Deck. It's nice. Portable gaming is much easier to do compared to standalone desktop gaming. I can pick it up and put it down any time.
So, yeah, life be lifing.

Finding time to do stuff outside of work is hard...
Gonna try to do more by moving my dev environment to my laptop. I've been dual booting Linux Mint and Win11 on it for the last year or two. Well, until today. Today I removed Linux Mint and went back to only having Win11 - since it is (unfortunately) my main OS for development. As much as I love Linux, it's not ready for heavy gamedev.
I've also decided to switch from a local perforce setup on my desktop PC to using Azure DevOps - as it provides unlimited storage for free.
Just finished setting everything up, installing the latest UE and Rider, and cloning the repo.
Let's see if this helps me work on my stuff more (or at least five me space to experiment with UE).

Been busy lately - haven't had much time to update my website.
There's a lot of work happening at work. Making games is hard.
Had my first ever running event last Sunday. That was fun. It was only 4k, but it was the fastest 4k I've ever run. It killed my legs. I was still pretty slow. I wanna do more of those.
I've been getting up even earlier, today I got up around 4:45 am.

Neocities is a very cool platform. So far I'm really having fun with my little website.
I've had personal websites before, but never like this. It just feels... Different? Somehow, more personal? Like the platform itself shapes the website that I'm creating.

I want to make this website look pretty some time. Right now it's fine, simple, easy to read. But I want to make it look good, too.
Got up early today, around 5 am. Worked on this site for a couple of hours or so. Need to get to work now. I have games to make.
